After meeting both of them they aknowledged that they are too close to each other. Anos and his teammates introduced to them as performers. In the Spirit forest when they were in conversation, suddenly a huge monster attacked them, Then Anos mentioned an unique sword that can be helpful in this situation. Shin first denied but later agrees to summon when Leno request to him. Anos give that sword to Lay to kill the monster and at the end of the episode, Shin offer Lay to hold that sword till he is with them.
